I love subscription boxes, and I love food. I was so happy when I was offer the chance to try a Love with Food box. I got it just before Christmas, so it was perfect timing to try out some new stuff.
Here’s a video of me unboxing my awesome Love with Food box-
I made the Spinach Dip Mix from Desert Gardens for my Christmas party. It was a huge hit. Everyone absolutely loved it. It was great with crackers and vegetables.
I enjoyed the Chocolate Dipped Madeleine by Donsuemor after we took our drive around to look at the Christmas lights in our neighborhood, while I finished up decorating. The cookie was soft and delicate, a perfect pairing with the deep dark chocolate.
The All-Natural Powdered Drinking Chocolate from Les Confitures a l’Ancienne was rich and delicious, topped with the All-Natural Marshmallow Topper (MaddyMelts, from Madyson’s Marshmallows) was a tasty after dinner treat on a cool winter evening.
The Molasses Spice Cookies from Grey Ghost Bakery were yummy, and so soft. They actually reminded me of the molasses cookies that my Gram used to make.
The Food Should Taste Good Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips were great, but honestly, I only got one and a half. My toddler (who doesn’t even like sweet potatoes) decided that these were the best thing ever, and ate the whole bag.
The Natural Crispbread Crackers from 34 Degrees were a nice light cracker. They paired well with the dips at Christmas.
As I mentioned in my un-boxing video, my chocolates got a little melty since I live in Florida, but I stuck them in the fridge to firm them up, and they were great. The Lindt Excellence 70% Cocoa Diamond was a rich and delicious little reward. The Angell Candy Bar from Betty Lou’s was a tasty combination of white chocolate and coconut, and kept me moving during my post-Christmas clean up.
The Allergen-Free Peppermints from St. Claire’s Organics were fabulous little herbal breath mints. They kept our breath fresh throughout all of our holiday parties.
I love that everything is all-natural and organic, especially since my kids helped try everything out. I love being able to try everything, and if I like it, them Love with Food offers member discounts on what you love! Best of all, for every box you receive, a meal gets donated to a hungry child in the U.S.
If you love trying out delicious, all-natural, organic food each month, then you’ll love Love with Food.
