Lean Cuisine #FrozenFavorites at Sam’s Club #CBias

I’ve mentioned before that I struggled to put weight on, but ever since I got my medication changed, I’ve had the opposite problem. For the first time in my life, my weight is going up, and up, and up. I’ve been trying to work out regularly and I’m hoping that now that the kids are back in school, I can schedule it in while they are away during the day. I’ve also been trying to eat better.
I’d been looking at the Lean Cuisine Asian Flavor 6-pack at Sam’s Club for quite a few months. I finally decided to pick some up and pass on picking up a big container of brownie bites, and too many pastries. (I love those treats, but I don’t think I need that if I’m trying to watch my weight!) I figured that the Lean Cuisine could make for an awesome lunch. Normally, Ziggy makes me eating lunch a difficult task, so I’m all for something that is quick and convenient. The fact that it’s healthy and tasty is a bonus.

While we were in the frozen foods section, I saw some DiGiorno Pizza Party Packs. I decided that the older two might enjoy some pizza and wings to celebrate their first day of school. I tried to look around at other frozen meals while we were there, but since it was Sunday, the entire food section was insanely busy. It wasn’t all that bad though, because of the crowds, I managed to steer clear of the frozen cheesecakes and fudge pops!
I also had some other fun things to pick up, and we wandered the store. Unfortunately, my batteries died while I was in the store, and my back-up batteries were also dead. I had a true freak out moment thinking that my camera was a goner. Luckily, it just seems that that pack of batteries was a dud.
We’d had more errands to run, but the sky chose to open up in a torrential downpour. We grabbed Subway for dinner since it was well after dinner time, and ran home.

I was super excited about lunch the next day. I had to cut up and peel vegetables for a salad for dinner (I love doing ahead of time preparation, it saves so much time during the dinner time rush!) so I made myself a small salad to go with my Lean Cuisine lunch. I had a hard time choosing between the #FrozenFavorites. The Sesame Chicken, the Ginger Garlic Stir Fry with Chicken and the Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry all looked equally tasty. I opted for the Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry. It was so tasty, and with my salad, I was quite full, and didn’t even feel the need to snack on anything before dinner.

  1. Those lean cuisine look yummy. I should stock up since my weight is up too! LOL

    • They really aren’t bad at all. I thought because they were small, I’d have to eat more, but they are surprisingly filling.

  2. That looks great! I really need to try one of these flavors!
